More than 20 Pennsylvania veteran-owned or operated breweries have collaborated on an IPA that will be released this Memorial Day weekend.

Here’s a great way to support Pennsylvania’s military families this Memorial Day weekend: buy beer made by Pennsylvania veterans.

Twenty-three veteran-owned or operated Pennsylvania breweries have collaborated on a 6% hazy IPA called Adapt and Overcome: Get Your Six, which will be released at 25 participating breweries statewide on Friday. The beer, which will be available on tap and in cans, is brewed by Pennsylvania veterans with ingredients sourced from veteran-owned businesses throughout the state.

Proceeds will be donated to Keystone Military Families, a Berks County-based nonprofit that provides groceries, clothing, household items, and furniture to Pennsylvania veterans. It also sends care packages overseas, fills 10,000 Christmas stockings annually, and helps veterans and military families with job searches.

This marks the fourth time Pennsylvania breweries have collaborated on a craft beer in honor of the state’s veterans. The Memorial Day brew was first released in 2019, supporting the Pennsylvania Veterans Foundation. Some $60,000 has been raised since the collaboration started.

You can find a complete list of participating breweries here.
