3 Important Dates to Remember for Pennsylvania Voters

As the November general election draws near, don’t miss these important deadlines to ensure your voice is heard at the ballot box.

The general election is Nov. 8. And while that seems far off, there are a few important dates along the way that Pennsylvanians don’t want to forget if they want to cast their vote this year.

Oct. 24th

The last day to register to vote in the November election is Oct. 24. To register, update your registration, or check your registration status, visit the state department’s voter services website.

Nov. 1st

The last day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is Nov. 1. Applications for a mail-in or absentee ballot must be received by your county election board by 5 p.m. that day.

Nov. 8th

Not only is Nov. 8 the day of the general election, it is also the last day you can return your mail-in and absentee ballot. Ballots must be received by your county election office no later than 8 p.m. that day.
