A state-sponsored study conducted by the University of Pittsburgh found “significant associations” between gas industry activity and medical conditions in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Republican State. Rep. Martina White attached an unrelated immigration amendment to the Solar for Schools legislation, which has bipartisan support from members of the Pennsylvania legislature. Supporters are calling for a clean passage of the bill.
Since taking over in January, Gov. Josh Shapiro has put an emphasis on Pennsylvania’s infrastructure. Last month, he announced $58 million for 157 new projects across the Keystone State.
