Pennsylvania Democrats celebrated the two-year anniversary of President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law by highlighting how the bill is benefitting Pennsylvania residents.
In Pennsylvania, $13.8 billion in funding has been announced, with over 300 specific infrastructure projects identified for funding. Approximately $10 billion will go to transit upgrades in the state, and over $650 million for clean water and water infrastructure.
Brubaker Farms will use a nearly $200,000 grant to help purchase and install a 224.07 kilowatt solar photovoltaic system at its dairy farm in Mount Joy. The project is expected to save the farm over $30,000 annually and replace 255,250 kilowatt hours, which is enough energy to power 23 homes.
Coming off the heels of President Biden’s recent hydrogen hub announcement, the Philadelphia region secured another key investment from the Biden Administration on Monday.
Hydrogen hubs are designed to create networks of hydrogen producers, consumers, and infrastructure that increase hydrogen as a clean energy source, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
