July 27, 2023

The Andy Warhol Museum, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, and the Heinz History Center are offering free admission throughout the last month of the summer after being recognized among the best in the nation.

With only about a month left until the kids head back to school, it’s a great time to get the family out of the house and get their brains back into learning mode. And you can do it for free!

Three museums in Pittsburgh will be offering free admission all next month.

The Andy Warhol Museum, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, and the Heinz History Center will be open to the public free of charge to celebrate their recent recognition by USA Today as being among the best.

The three museums all won honors in the 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. The Andy Warhol Museum ranked fourth nationally in Best Art Museums. The Children’s Museum received second place honors in Best Children’s Museums. The Heinz History Center took second in Best History Museums.

Gather the kids and head to the museum next month, but make sure to book online ahead of your visit to ensure you’ll get in on what is expected to be busy last days of summer.
