After analyzing the number of Google searches in the state, medical experts determined which are the most popular cosmetic surgeries in the commonwealth.
If you’ve ever thought about going under the knife to change something about your body that you’re not happy with, you aren’t alone. It seems a lot of Pennsylvanians have also considered cosmetic surgery.
A new study has revealed the most in-demand cosmetic surgeries in Pennsylvania, with the Brazilian butt lift taking the crown.
Medical experts at med.ro analyzed the number of average monthly Google searches in each state for different cosmetic procedures, including terms like ‘BBL near me’ ‘buccal fat removal price’ and ‘eyelid lift surgeon.’ The search volume for each term was combined for each procedure to determine which are the most popular.
These are the most popular cosmetic surgeries in Pennsylvania:
Brazilian Butt Lift
The Brazilian butt lift (BBL) had an average of 9,852 monthly Google searches. This procedure removes fat from other areas of the body to inject in the buttock to create curves.
Celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have been rumored to have undergone this procedure, which has undoubtedly contributed to its popularity given their large following within influencer culture.
Tummy Tuck
Abdominoplasty, otherwise known as a tummy tuck, had 5,055 average monthly Google searches. This procedure removes excess skin and fat from the stomach area.
The procedure is particularly popular with those who have experienced significant weight loss or have been pregnant, as it can help your figure to regain shape and appear more toned.
Hair Transplant
This procedure, which involves taking hair from other areas of the body and transplanting it to scalp areas that are balding, had 3,251 average monthly Google searches.
Approximately two-thirds of men in the US experience hair loss by age 35, so this procedure can help achieve a natural-looking hairline.
Liposuction
Liposuction had 2,651 average monthly Google searches. This procedure uses suction to remove fat from various areas of the body, including stomach, hips, neck, and more.
Nose Job
Called rhinoplasty, this procedure had 575 average monthly Google searches. It involves altering the shape of the nose by changing the bone, cartilage, or skin.
Part of the popularity stems from many celebrities admitting to going under the knife for this procedure, including supermodel Bella Hadid.
