The Pennridge School Board repealed the district’s sex-based bathroom policy that required students to use the bathroom that matched their biological sex on Monday evening, effective August 1.

The proposed solution was a compromise featuring both gender and sex based facilities but you wouldn’t know it if you only watched local news coverage on the issue.
