On Feb. 2, the “seer of seers” will make his annual Groundhog Day forecast prediction.
Thousands of spectators will gather in Punxsutawney at Gobblers Knob at 1548 Woodland Ave. Ext. to hear what Punxsutawney Phil has to say about the upcoming forecast.
To spectators, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, that means six more weeks of winter. If he does not see his shadow, that means spring is around the corner.
While the festivities begin in the early hours of the morning from 3 a.m. to 5 p.m., Groundhog Day is an event that anyone can attend either in-person or virtually.
Here’s how you can attend Groundhog Day without leaving the comfort of your home.
