Increased viral transmission in southwestern Pennsylvania is largely responsible for a 37% jump in the rate of new infections statewide over the past four weeks, according to an AP analysis of data.

Head Coach Pat Chambers tweeted an apology on Monday.

Gov. Wolf and state lawmakers are devoting at least $150 million in federal coronavirus emergency relief money for rental assistance of $750 per month for up to six months.

Wolf said that he does not envision another broad shutdown order to contain the coronavirus in Pennsylvania and, rather, hopes to leave those decisions to local governments.

The lawsuit includes videos of officers firing projectiles at protesters, firing a canister at the chest of a female protester from about 10 feet away, and firing tear gas and smoke at people walking away from the protest site.

“She was no longer able to have family, visitors, friends visit her,” he said. “And she became a little depressed, so I knew that I had to do something to try to uplift her spirits.”
