The US House of Representatives passed a measure to boost coronavirus relief payments to $2,000 on Monday. But eight of the 18 Pennsylvanians in the lower chamber of Congress opposed it.
Beginning Monday, CVS and Walgreens are starting the vaccination process for residents and staff at Pennsylvania’s nursing homes, state Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said.

Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said that 1,205 front-line workers had been vaccinated by Thursday morning, and none of them reported any negative side effects.
The storm could bring 2 to 18 inches of snow, depending on where in the state you live.
"Today is an important day as we look toward the future," said state Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine.
The governor had tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, and has said he has been asymptomatic the entire time.
“We all hoped it would not come to this,” Wolf said. “The current state of the surge in Pennsylvania will not allow this to wait.”
Gov. Tom Wolf said he has no symptoms and is quarantined at home.
“We’re doing everything we can in our power to avoid going back to where we were in March and April,” Gov. Tom Wolf said.
