Trump removed the inspector general who was the chair of a special oversight board intended to help businesses and individuals affected by the coronavirus.
Ignoring medical experts and scientists, Trump has aggressively promoted hydroxychloroquine, while acknowledging that he isn’t a doctor and instead relies on “common sense.”
That's about one-sixth of the nearly 6.6 million people that Pennsylvania reported being in the civilian labor force in February.
Even as hospitals scrounge for professionals from the industry to treat the burgeoning numbers of people with COVID-19, others are on the sidelines as elective procedures, diagnostics and appointments are canceled or postponed.
