Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House Staffer who testified against Donald Trump after the Jan. 6th insurrection, appeared on a Central Pennsylvania radio station on Wednesday and said Scott Perry was central in the efforts to overturn the 2020 election on Jan. 6, 2021.

One of the main witnesses to former President Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election appeared on WITF’s The Spark on Wednesday and told the radio host, Scott Lamar, that Congressman Scott Perry (R-York) played a central role in planning Jan. 6th.

Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House aide working under Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff, appeared on the radio program following the release of her book titled “Enough.”

Hutchinson will forever be known for providing bombshell testimony in front of Congress about events and actions leading up to, and on, Jan. 6th. According to WITF, she told the radio host that Perry owes it to his constituents to explain his knowledge of Trump’s plan to overturn the 2020 election and stay in office.

“I would implore him to go under oath to dispute whether or not he asked for a pardon, or whether he thinks he did anything wrong,” Hutchinson said. “But I think it is also important for central Pennsylvanians to know that Scott Perry was central to the planning of Jan. 6.”

Hutchinson then goes on to say that Perry was an essential figure in working with members of the Department of Justice (DOJ) to overturn the election results.

In the days following the 2020 election, Perry and Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) attended one of the first Stop the Steal rallies in the country on the steps of the Pennsylvania Capitol, joining right-wing extremist Scott Presler to spread likes about the outcome of the election.

Perry was also responsible for introducing DOJ lawyer Jeffrey Clark to Trump in the weeks leading up to Jan. 6th. Perry pressured the DOJ to conduct sham investigations into the election results after Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen refused to do so.

The congressman had his cell phone seized by the FBI last year and it was ultimately revealed that he helped spread many conspiracy theories about voting fraud. In one of the unearthed messages, Perry blames China for the outcome of the 2020 election.

“DNI needs to task NSA to immediately seize and begin looking for international comms related to Dominion – was china malware involved?” Perry wrote.
