Pennsylvania’s governor, lieutenant governor, auditor general, and attorney general addressed the violence that occurred in Washington Wednesday.

HARRISBURG — Gov. Tom Wolf and Pennsylvania’s other elected leaders had strong reactions to the domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol in Washington, DC, during an attempted coup Wednesday.

Attorney General Josh Shapiro blamed Donald Trump for the violence that broke out while Congress was meeting to certify the results of the 2020 election.

Lt. Gov. John Fetterman showed his confidence in America to make it through this crisis.


He also reinforced the fact that Pennsylvania had a fair and free election.

Auditor General Eugene DePasquale pointed out this isn’t the first time Trump’s supporters have turned to violence.
