With Pennsylvania’s expansion of Sunday hunting taking effect next month, state park and forestry officials announced a “phased approach” to opening public land this fall on days previously off limits to hunters.
September 14 will be the first Sunday open to hunting.
The law takes effect on September 7, 2025, but it’s unclear how many Sundays will be added.
