From hotel stays and dining out to shopping and outdoor adventures, visitors kept their wallets busy in the Pocono Mountains last year. According to the Pennsylvania Tourism Office, the region brought in $4.9 billion in visitor spending in 2024, with Monroe County bringing in the most among its neighbors.
Statewide, tourism generated an economic impact of $83.9 billion, supported more than 514,000 jobs and contributed $5 billion in state and local taxes. The Keystone State welcomed 201.6 million visitors.
