Pennsylvania is traditionally considered one of the best states for camping, and with more than 300,000 acres of state park land, campers have no shortage of sites for hardcore camping.
But if you are looking for something a little less rugged, you can try glamping at these sites in Pennsylvania.
For the first time, Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources have opened 61 glamping sites in eight Pennsylvania state parks for select 2026 dates.
The sites will feature glamping tents from Timberline, and include a selection of comfort amenities like large beds, lights, furnishing and small appliances.
Here’s where the new glamping sites are located, and how you can register for extended stays.
Eight state parks in Pennsylvania have glamping sites
In conjunction with glamping experts Timberline, Pennsylvania’s conservation and natural resources department opened glamping registration at these state parks:

What is glamping?
Glamping is a more comfort-filled form of camping, one in which you are technically camping, but maintain certain luxuries and amenities at your fingertips.
“Glamping is where stunning nature meets modern luxury. It’s a way to experience the untamed and completely unique parts of the world — without having to sacrifice creature comforts,” read Glamping.com’s definition. “It’s a fusion of glamour and camping, glamping is a way to authentically experience the most awe-inspiring locales around the world.”
