Tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians turned out for Saturday’s historic ‘No Kings’ demonstration.

Over 20,000 Philadelphia-area residents turned out for Saturday’s “No Kings” demonstration in the City of Brotherly Love with dozens of other rallies also taking place across the state.

It was a festive, party-like atmosphere among a series of nationwide demonstrations against President Donald Trump and his administration.

There were over 60 “No Kings” demonstrations throughout Pennsylvania, with thousands also attending rallies in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh. Across the country there were over 2,600 demonstrations with more than 5 million people in attendance according to organizers

“The American people are not accepting what’s happening in DC in this unbelievable power grab and they’re exercising their first amendment rights to say they don’t like it,” US House Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pennsylvania) told The Keystone in an interview.

She added, “People should come out to these rallies. It’s really important that people express their opinions and let their elected officials know how they feel about what’s happening.”

Here’s a look at some of our favorite photos and signs from Saturday’s rally in Philadelphia and warning, some of these aren’t safe for work.
