The City of York will hold a street dedication ceremony Friday, Aug. 28, to honor the life, leadership and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the 63rd anniversary of his “I Have A Dream” speech.
According to Tom Donley, one of the organizers of the dedication ceremony, the dedication of College Avenue from Edgar Street to Belvidere Avenue is honorary, not a literal renaming of the street, but there will be signage in place to recognize MLK Jr.
