Time to sound off about your pain at the pump.
How are you dealing with the recent spike in gas prices?
“I’m lucky that I work remotely, so I don’t have to fill up as much. But my family travels a lot by car in the summer, so if this continues, we’re really going to feel it.”
— Ben C., East Norriton
“I’m driving less. Simple as that. It sucks, because I’ve had to cut back on trips to Philly and New Hope, for shopping and eating, etc. I love those places but right now, it’s too expensive to go as much as I’d like. I think if this drags on retailers, bars, and restaurants will feel the strain of people going out less due to the high gas cost.”
— Stephanie, Bucks County
“I have to drive less, and keep an eye out for the cheapest gas. An EV would be great, but the cost was just too high for me the last time I bought a car three years ago.”
— Erik Gainstrom, York County
“We’re retired and downsized from two gas cars to one EV last year. It makes a big difference, especially right now.”
— Peg and Don T., Montgomeryville
“I’m thinking long and hard about how far I’m driving right now. Sticking to necessary trips like groceries and the doctor. Gas is just too expensive right now.”
— Mark P., Olyphant
