If ever there was a birthday worth celebrating in Pennsylvania, it’s this one: Wawa turns 62 on Wednesday. The Delco-based convenience store chain has grown from a single store in Folsom to more than 1,000 locations, stretching down the eastern seaboard into Florida, deep into Sheetz country, and even further west into Ohio and Indiana.
In honor of Wawa’s birthday, we’d like to know: What’s your go-to Wawa order?
I usually keep it simple: a turkey Shorti on a multi-grain roll with American cheese, sweet peppers, tomato, spicy mustard, salt, pepper, and oregano. For a beverage, either water or a ginger ale.
What’s your go-to Wawa order? Reply with your answer and please let us know where you live!

As the weather gets more conducive to road tripping, we’re going to be highlighting some destinations throughout the state we feel make great spots for a day trip, whether you’re looking to have some fun in the outdoors, take in some history, do some sightseeing, enjoy great food and shopping, or all of the above.
Our first stop is a sightseeing tour of Scranton, tailored specifically for fans of the iconic sitcom “The Office.”
While the Scranton-set show was shot in California, references in the dialogue to actual businesses and landmarks in “The Electric City” are fairly common, so much so that fans regularly make pilgrimages to Scranton to take photos of the familiar Penn Paper building and visit character haunts like Cooper’s Seafood House.
Our Kalena Thomhave has assembled an itinerary of Scranton sites—both the famous and the deep cuts—that fans of “The Office” will surely want to check out.
