Bucks County pups will have a new way to enjoy the warm weather at a summer camp designed just for our four-legged friends.
NJ-based K9 Resorts is opening two summer camps to give dogs their own classic summer camp experience at their locations in Bethlehem and Chalfont.
The eight-week camps runs from June 16 to Aug. 9 with activities every Tuesday and Thursday with themed weeks like agility courses, nosework games, arts and crafts where pups can create their own paintings, a canine spa experience and a camp photo day.
Dogs can even earn camp-style badges for each week they complete, giving pet parents a fun keepsake to memorialize their dog’s summer achievements.
“After a highly successful first year, we’re excited to bring our Summer Camp program back for an even bigger and better second season,” K9 Resorts Co-Founder and CEO Steven Parker said in a statement.
K9 Resorts offers dog boarding and daycare services across nearly 50 locations nationwide and the summer camp transforms a typical stay into a camp-inspired environment that promotes exercise, mental stimulation and social connection.
“Our goal at K9 Resorts is to elevate the boarding and daycare experience beyond expectations. Dogs need both physical and mental stimulation, and we want to ensure that we’re providing an outlet for all types of dogs and breeds to thrive, from sniffing and dog-designed puzzles to agility courses,” Parker said. “With this Summer Camp series, we’ve created a program where dogs don’t just stay with us – they thrive, explore, and leave happier.”
Each canine camper is closely monitored by trained staff members to ensure a safe and positive experience. Personalized attention and customized activities ensure that every dog – from energetic puppies to laid-back canines – enjoys Summer Camp at their own pace, according to the company.
