Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got hitched and a Pennsylvania food bank is among those receiving a wedding present.

Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank in Reading, which serves people in Berks and Schuylkill counties, on July 2 announced a $1 million gift from Swift and Kelce to help fight hunger. The superstar singer is a Berks County native who married the Kansas City Chiefs tight end over the Fourth of July weekend in New York City. Multiple sources have reported the couple donated millions of dollars to organizations in the week leading to the potential nuptials.

“Taylor grew up right here in our service territory, and today, she and Travis are giving back to neighbors in her hometown and surrounding communities,” Helping Harvest posted with a “thank you Taylor & Travis” on July 2 on its Facebook page. “At a time when more families than ever are turning to us for help, this gift will help us continue putting nutritious food on tables across Berks and Schuylkill counties.”

Helping Harvest collects, purchases, stores and distributes more than 9 million pounds of food annually to the more than 350 programs which feed the hungry in Berks and Schuylkill counties, according to its website.
