The ultimate ‘pinch me’ moment for York owners
Co-Founder of The Pretzel Company Philip Given said making the list felt like “the ultimate ‘pinch me’ moment” for his team. “When we started out, all we hoped for was to share a truly authentic, bakery-fresh pretzel with our neighbors,” Given said.
“This selection is a wave of encouragement for every single person here, from our bakers who start the dough at 6 a.m. to our packaging team sealing your box with love. This honor belongs to them, and it belongs to you, our customer, who supported us every step of the way.”
“As a longtime Yorker, it’s a joy to see our pretzels on a national stage. We’re proud to represent our community and share a taste of York with the world,” Meagan Given, co-owner of The Pretzel Company added.
Founded in 2014, The Pretzel Company began as a small bakery on Market Street, hand-twisting every pretzel. Over the past decade, the company has grown to ship its signature pretzels nationwide while remaining rooted in York’s entrepreneurial spirit.
