Trump endorses Garrity in bid to replace Josh Shapiro as Pa. governor
In a Truth Social post Jan. 27, Trump lauded Garrity’s credentials as a former U.S. Army Reserve officer and businesswoman. As governor, he said, she would “work tirelessly” to grow the economy, cut taxes, expand energy production and “Ensure LAW AND ORDER.”

Pa. senator seeks state animal cruelty registry after Erie dog’s death
Sen. Dan Laughlin (R-Erie) proposed the framework for legislation Jan. 26, just days after the death of a six-month old Siberian husky that had been left outside in the freezing cold by its owners in Erie County. The dog was named Aimee while in the care of the A.N.N.A Shelter before it died Jan 23.

All seven Pa. House Democrats now signed onto Noem impeachment articles
The articles were filed earlier this month by Illinois Rep. Robin Kelly, whose district includes parts of Chicago. The city dealt with heavy Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol activity last year, including the deployment of a Blackhawk helicopter in a heavily criticized apartment complex raid.
